With a semi-not-surprising move the San Diego Chargers releases RB LaDainian Tomlinson after 9 years

Some may see this move as a surprise however SD had talked about this last year and LT had been making comments about how he didn't think he would be a round much longer for a while now.  Not to mention he hasn't produced starting running back numbers in the past 2-3 years.  Of course I'm going to say that the Packers should pick him up so they can easy the load on Ryan Grant and use LT in 3rd down and short yardage situations.  Either way I feel as if LT will be with a new team in no time since he seems to have a little left in the tank.  Either way I wouldn't draft him in your fantasy teams next season.  I miss football already, ahhhhhh!

  1. The career life span of an NFL running back is relatively short. Nine years is a good run. It's time for LT to retire. he had a good career in his prime, no sense hanging around as a washed up back up. Next stop NFL Network.
