It's that time again!!! Think Blue!!!

Spring training is finally here and I can't wait for the upcoming season!!!!  The Dodgers are looking good but I'm still waiting for a move to be made on 1 more starting pitcher.  Who knows if that will happen but either way I'm excited for baseball to be back!  Also I have some fantasy baseball leagues as well so if you are interested in that please leave a message in the comments section of this post.  Go Dodgers!!!

  1. Can't wait! Don't think there is any reason to trip on the final starter for the rotation either. We got plenty of fire, someone just has to step up and take the slot. Shit, maybe Gagne will blow everyone's mind and step up as a starter like he was doing in the canadian league? Either way, super stoked for the season to get going. Im counting the days!

  2. Yeah you are right, we will be fine with the pitchers we have. Clayton has to go off this season though. His coming out year!!! Can't wait to start going to games!!!

  3. I like Haeger, McDonald or Stults to get that number 5 spot. We aren't gonna get any impact pitchers at this point, and Russ Ortiz isn't going to do shit. I'm feeling Gagne as this year's serviceable scrap heap pick up.

  4. I think its a coming out year for the entire team, I cant go thru another run that ends in Philly. Lets hope Mattingly has something more to offer. Pitching is the same all over the NL West, we need to step up. Ready for Opening Day

  5. I was reading some team posts on MLB.com and the report states the Dodgers have 11 non-roster invitee pitchers on minor league contract trying to land the 5th spot in the rotation. Nine are older experienced major league players and they have two emerging youngsters. One is considered a top prospect--Josh Lindblom. The vets include some familiar names--Jeff Weaver, Luis Ayala, and Russ Ortiz. If history means anything, Joe Torre likes veterans over youth if they can do a credible job. If not look for a move to one of the rookies.
