2010 Louisville basketball recruiting class get some big news today!!!

Finally we get some good news regarding our 2010 incoming recruiting class!  Over the past year we have heard tons of good news about our now ranked #1 2011 recruiting class but I was starting to wonder if Pitino had forgotten to recruit some players for 2010 which will be our first year in our brand new "Downtown Arena!"  So I am happy to report that our top prospect for 2010, Justin Coleman, has committed verbal to the Cards.  He had been leaning towards Louisville but also had offers from Kentucky, Arkansas, Providence, and South Florida.  Coleman who is a 6-foot-4 shooting guard from Richmond, VA is ranked as the #50 player in espn's top 100!  This is huge for the cards being that this is only our 3rd committed prospect for 2010.  The Cards have already scored a pair of point guards in Russell Smith and Elisha Justice which will help considering we will be losing Sosa.  Also considering the Cards for 2010 are 2 very highly rated centers who will hopefully make the decision to join the UofL family.  I'm looking forward to getting more solid recruits for 2010 but for now the big headline is still our 2011 incoming class.  The list of players also considering Louisville for 2011 is pretty impressive as well, check it here!  More news to come!
