In a game that had 12 pitchers and 18 runs combined, the Giants thrashed the Rangers to take an 1-0 lead in the 2010 World Series! After going up 2-0 by the second inning I think we all thought Cliff Lee would go on his usual auto-pilot and have no problem taking game one. However after he hit a double in the 2nd inning, nothing would go right for him after that. He was pulled after 5 innings giving up 8 hits and 6 runs. Not at all what we expected to see. I mean come on who would have thought a game started by Lee and Lincecum would end with an 11-7 score! Either way it was a great start to what should be a great World Series! Game 2 starts right now!
