Matt Garza Throws The Tampa Bay Rays First Ever No-Hitter!

So I just finished watching this espn monday night featured game and I have to give it up to Matt Garza.  One heck of a pitched game, congrats! That's the fifth no-no of the season, even though there should have been a sixth.  Great season so far and so much is left to be played!!!

  1. Garza is a good pitcher who just keeps improving along with the current Rays pitching staff. Pitching in MLB has shown an overall resurgence. Is this another "dead ball" year or is it due to the hitters going off the "juice?" Joe Maddon thinks it's the lack of juice and he said so yesterday when commenting on A-Rod being stuck on 599 career home runs. His comments before last night's game between the Rays and Yankees set the stage for A-Rod to rise to the occasion for number 600. Nope, despite the challenge A-Rod failed to produce. Maybe Joe is on to something.
